Rajesh Saha joined CAL Bangladesh as the Deputy CEO of CAL Securities Limited and was thereafter promoted as its CEO. Rajesh Saha is a prominent capital market professional with over 15 years of experience in Equity Sales and Trading, working for various locally renowned financial institutions. Over the years, he has served numerous local corporates, High Net investors, and institutions and developed an extensive local network.

Prior to joining CAL Bangladesh, Rajesh worked as Vice President and Head of Corporate and HNI Sales for UCB Stock Brokerage Limited for more than 5 years, one of the top three stock brokerages in terms of volume in Bangladesh. During his tenure at UCB, he played a key role in transforming the company into a top-ranked and highly respected local stock market operator. Previously, he worked for BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage, IDLC Securities Ltd., and Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd, all of which are locally reputed stock brokers. Rajesh holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Northern University of Bangladesh, majoring in Marketing and a Minor in Finance.

Kabir is an accomplished capital market professional having 15 years of proven track record in stockbroking, asset management, and investment research. He started his career as an analyst in AIMS of Bangladesh and then moved to an offshore fund dedicated to investing in Bangladesh equities. In various leadership roles, Kabir also worked in BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Ltd., UCB Stock Brokerage Ltd., and LankaBangla Securities Ltd. He brings in a unique mix of capabilities in executing complex transactions, large portfolio management, and scaling up business operations.

He is a finance graduate (BBA) from the University of Dhaka and also has done EMBA in marketing from BRAC University.

Ahmed Omar currently holds the position of Vice President – Head of Research at CAL Bangladesh. He has more than 10 years of experience in the investment research arena in the Bangladesh capital market, working in a brokerage firm & asset management company. Prior to joining CAL, he worked as Head of Research at Shanta Securities Limited, overseeing the company’s research team and covering consumer goods and construction sectors. Ahmed Omar started his career in the AIMS of Bangladesh Limited research team. He is a CFA charter holder and holds a BBA and MBA in Finance from North South University.

Arafat is the Head of Investment Banking of CAL Bangladesh. He has over 10 years of experience in capital market of Bangladesh. He has been with CAL since December 2021. Prior to that, he served in a number of positions at the LankaBangla Investments Ltd., including as the Head of Investment Banking. He started at LBIL in Research and worked on Primary Market Services as well.

Arafat introduced Transaction Advisory Services in Bangladesh and executed the Largest On Market Transaction in Bangladesh. Over his career he has advised on multiple Overseas Equity Investments FDI Repatriations, Financing Arrangements M&A transactions and Transaction Advisory assignments with a combined value exceeding BDT100bn,

He graduated with a BSc. in EEE from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) & MBA in Finance from Institute of Business Administration University of Dhaka
